Founded in 2017 by Myrtle Beach native David Spang and his wife Crystal, we were at the forefront of the state's CBD movement,
opening the first dedicated retail location.

Fueled by a desire to make a positive impact, Coastal Green Wellness began as a local dream shared by David Spang
and his wife, Crystal. Leveraging their combined experience in building successful ventures, they embarked on a
new path – fostering a welcoming space for education and access to high-quality cannabis products.
Pioneering the South Carolina CBD market in 2017, we took a bold step, opening our doors before the industry's
explosive growth. From the outset, transparency and quality have been our cornerstones. We've meticulously curated

Today, Coastal Green Wellness is a thriving company with a passionate team of nine. We've grown from a single retail
location to a network of stores, and our vision extends beyond the South East. We're committed to expanding our reach

While we don't grow or extract the cannabis ourselves, we maintain close relationships with our co-manufacturers, ensuring the highest quality standards are met from seed to shelf. Every batch of our in-house brands undergoes full-panel lab testing at multiple stages for complete transparency.

David Spang
David isn't just the founder, he's the driving force behind Coastal Green Wellness. From charting the company's course to overseeing daily operations, his passion for cannabis education is evident in everything we do. Don't be surprised if you see him behind the counter, connecting with customers and ensuring their needs are met.
Crystal Spang
Crystal, a founding member and Coastal Carolina University graduate with a background in public relations, is the mastermind behind Coastal Green Wellness's welcoming atmosphere and engaging social media presence. She oversees in-store design and aesthetics and brings her retail expertise primarily to our Market Common location. But you could see her at any of our retail locations.
Jason Walter
Jason joined the Coastal Green Wellness team in 2018, managing product production and wholesale fulfillment. He also serves customers directly at our North Myrtle Beach store.
Tony Rawls
At our North Myrtle Beach location, Tony leverages his e-commerce background to enhance both in-store and online customer experiences. He oversees online retail fulfillment, ensuring every order is processed with care.
Hunter Scholl
Hunter, a full-time presence at our Market Common location, is a go-to for his deep cannabis knowledge. Known as everyone's favorite cannabis expert, he guides customers with enthusiasm and expertise.
Mike Coyle
A Clemson graduate, Mike efficiently manages our Georgia operations as the Regional Manager. He expertly handles day-to-day activities while also focusing on the broader goals, ensuring our mission and standards are upheld across the state. You can find him at any of our GA locations.
Azelyn Young
Full-time at our Main Street NMB location, Azelyn's bubbly personality and solid cannabis knowledge make every customer interaction memorable.
Sierra Wirt
Georgia College and State University graduate, Sierra is passionate about helping her local community find relief using cannabis. Sierra brings her enthusiasm and strong communication skills to our Decatur retail store.
Eddie Moore
Eddie skillfully balances his time between retail duties at our West End joint and creating stunning graphic designs. His part-time role allows him to merge customer service with creative flair, enhancing our brand's visual appeal.
Finn
Woof! Meet Finn, the furriest member of the Coastal Green team and our beloved "Employee of the Month" every month. Finn, our 9-year-old Australian Shepherd, loves to roam the stores, spreading smiles and good vibes wherever he goes. Finn spends time at all locations, so you never know when you will get lucky to see him at your store!
